As per Level 1 Pilates for Horse Riders, these classes use carefully selected Pilates exercises and apply Pilates principles and techniques to help develop body awareness and improve flexibility, strength, balance and co-ordination which in turn helps to improve your posture and security in the saddle. As well as delivering all the benefits of Pilates, it also includes techniques and exercises from other bodywork and movement modalities, which are not found in pure Pilates but which are really effective for improving your riding.
Level 2 goes into more details of specific areas of riding and builds on the foundation principles set in Level 1. This is currently only available via Zoom and by invitation to those who have completed Level 1. In addition to those having attended the Level 1, this will also be available in the near future to those who have undergone the personal assessment without having completed the Level 1. This process is currently under construction – so watch this space!
